Let's talk vacation wear! Every vacation I always struggle with "What do I pack?". I'm the type that fears of under-packing, which can be bad especially when going on a plane that has weight restrictions for baggage. So here are some tips for figuring out what to pack for that getaway trip! This is my packing list for my recent trip to Oahu, Hawaii.

1. I like to travel comfy especially when I know I'm going to be on a plane or in the car for hours. I usually wear a tank top, athletic pants, and running shoes. Hair is usually in a bun or ponytail. I always pack a sweatshirt or jacket to throw on if the car or plane gets cold.

2. Always pack at least TWO going out outfits

Earrings: Pearls

This is a dress I got from TJ Maxx recently that I fell in love with! Since Hawaii is a place full of vegetatation and beautiful scenery I wanted to tie that in with my clothing. I wore a lot of floral prints (as you guys know I am obsessed with), and kept the jewelry pretty minimal. Since this dress is already pretty busy, and has a high neck I decided that not to wear a necklace. Of course being a southern gal, I had to wear my pear earrings. Every southern girl knows that pearls are a staple.

Romper: TJ Maxx

You guys know me rompers are my obsession! I got this floral romper also recently from TJMAXX and I am obsessed with it! I wore this to our night out at the Luau. Paired with statement earrings and a pair of wedge heels.

3. Since I normally don't have a lot of space for shoes in my suitcase due to the amount of clothes I pack I typically bring one maybe 2 pairs of wedges or sandals that I can rotate throughout the week with each outfit.

4. Pack bathing suit pieces that you can mix and match. Since space is already so limited make sure you pack 2 bathing suits AT LEAST so that while one is wet and drying you can have a dry one to wear.
